DESCRIPTION: Gundu Vellam, also known as Organic Cane Jaggery, is produced using traditional methods that involve crushing sugar cane and boiling the juice to a temperature of more than 200 degrees Celsius in big, shallow, rounded-bottomed pots. Since no chemical adulterants were used in its preparation, it will be black in colour.

USAGE & BENEFITS: Sakkarai pongal and other common household uses primarily call for the usage of cane jaggery. Gundu Vellam contains traces of mineral salts, iron, and fibre in addition to up to 50% sucrose, 20% invert sugars, and up to 20% moisture.


HOW WE DIFFER FROM OTHERS: Cane Jaggery is made using ancient, conventional crushing equipment without the need of large machinery.Due to the fact that it is processed and packaged straight from farmers, any middleman intervention or adulteration is eliminated.
